Magazine for portraits of Zoey

I wanted my portrait magazine to reflect the simplicity and elegance of clean design, drawing attention to the portraits of Zoey with minimal text. I focused on using simple titles that spoke about what I saw the phots could be perceived as with just a few words, allowing the photos to tell the whole story. I varied the layout, sometimes using full-page spreads and others with a more subtle, smaller presentation, to provide a dynamic, different experience for the viewer. The backgrounds, ranging from pure white to a soft yellow tint, aimed to create visual contrast while complementing Zoeys portraits.

McLuhans quote, We shape our tools and thereafter our tools shape us, influenced my design process. The way I chose to present the portraits through layout, background, and text was intentional, as each design element shaped how the viewer experienced the photographs. This project reminded me of the power of the medium in guiding the interpretation and emotional response of the audience.

I attempted to link the rest of the magazine with the cover although if it does not work this is my link to my Magazine
