Final project
For this project, I started by capturing over 300 images across several locations: the library, Fox Commons, a room in Coleman, and briefly outdoors. The outdoor shots didn’t turn out as I hoped, so I decided to focus on the indoor images. From there, I went through the process of selecting the strongest photos based on lighting, angles, and overall feel. I narrowed the collection down to 64 final images. My editing process focused on adjusting the lighting and tones to create a cohesive look across the series. I experimented with both natural and artificial light, starting with a plain camera setup and later introducing flash in almost every space we used. I tried to explore a wide range of angles and perspectives to push myself creatively and avoid repetition. One challenge was making the edits feel consistent, especially with lighting differences across locations.
